Summer Camp

The fun continues in the summer at Camp Acorn! Camp runs for six weeks, is staffed by current Acorn teachers, and typically each child can attend for two of those weeks. Camp runs Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of each week, from 9am-1pm. Registration for Camp Acorn begins in late April of each school year.

Each week has a special theme, with art projects and stories to go with that theme. To keep cool on hot days, we have two pools, one for splashing and the other for quieter play. The "Acorn Waterslide" and sprinkler provide a fun variety for water play, and are great favorites. Children should dress in old, comfortable clothes as there will be lots of outdoor play, paint and other fun goopy stuff. Snacks are provided, but each child should also bring his/her own nut-free lunch, along with bathing suit, towel, bug spray and sunscreen.
